Easyrider Returns to Charlotte

The popular Easyrider Bike Show tour returns to the Charlotte Convention Center this weekend with hundreds of motorcycles running the gamut from high dollar customs to barely running rat bikes.

This year the rat rods and hot rods also occupies the hall with a couple dozen four wheel entries.

For the younger set the show also provides a "kids zone" entertainment area to provide a nice diversion for the little ones.

Michael Ballard and Angie Colson, direct from the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis South Dakota will also be on hand selling merchandise and signing autographs and meeting their fans.

  5. This is the first show that I have been to 2007. The 2011 show was a far cry from previous shows. I don't know if is the economy or the new "family friendly" format but, this show was lame, lame, lame. The only nationally known builder, that I saw, was Kendall Johnson and he is local to the Charlotte area. Sunday afternoon didn't even have a band; just 2 guys singing and playing acoustic guitars. Not bad musicians but, definately not as exciting as the rockin bands at past shows. Even the "Purrfect Angels"seemed to be absent. There were some nice bikes there, mostly from regional builders but, nothing like previous shows. This bike show definately not worth the price of admission.
