Watch out TV and Movie stars, the rock stars are rolling hard, with Joe Perry leading the bunch.
Joe Perry, guitarist for the band Aerosmith is the latest high profile motorcycle rider to suffer the slings and arrows of road rash when the Ducati Monster he was riding was struck yesterday by a 62-year-old grandmother he drove through Middleborough, Mass., near his home in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Perry reportedly was a little peeved at Steven Tyler for breaking his shoulder by falling off the Buffalo Chip stage last August. Tyler's injury eventually caused the cancellation of Aerosmith's remaining tour dates.
Perry's publicist told the Boston Globe that the rocker was admitted to the hospital with minor injuries and was soon discharged. Liz Rosenberg said, "Joe is home and he's fine. All's well and we're all grateful."
Aerosmith new tour, "Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock" begins next week, which includes an August 14th homecoming show at Fenway Park. Perry's spill is not expected to delay the tour opening.
